About The Pizza Boxes
We make plain and printed pizza boxes for UK food businesses, from a single takeaway to a frozen pizza brand. Every job starts with a quote by email and a free design proof.
What do we make?
We make corrugated pizza boxes in E-flute (about 1.5 mm) and B-flute (about 3 mm) board, in white or brown kraft. You can have them plain, or printed in one colour, two colours or full colour on the lid, on the sides or inside the lid.
As well as square boxes, we make round and eight-sided boxes, triangle boxes for single slices, long boxes for calzone and flatbread, and printed cartons for frozen pizza. Liners, separators and side order trays complete the range.
You can see every style on our full list of pizza boxes.
Who are the boxes for?
We make boxes for pizzerias, takeaways, street food vans and market stalls. Pubs that serve pizza order from us, and so do dark kitchens that only send food out.
Frozen pizza brands come to us for printed retail cartons. Each kitchen needs something different. A van needs boxes that stack flat in a tight space, while a busy delivery shop needs lids that lock shut so a driver can carry four boxes in one bag.
How does an order work?
Every order follows the same five steps, whether it is one size or six.
- You send your sizes, quantities, board and print choices.
- We email you a price within one working day.
- We make a free design proof of your box.
- You approve the proof, or ask for changes until it is right.
- We print in 4 to 6 working days and deliver the boxes free and tracked.
We print nothing until you approve the proof, so the box you open is the box you signed off. Start with our online pizza box quote request.
Which sizes do we list as standard?
We list six standard square sizes, for 7, 9, 10, 12, 14 and 16 inch pizzas. Each box is a quarter inch wider than the pizza inside and 1.75 in deep. We do not claim any other fixed size.
Deeper boxes for deep pan, long boxes and other sizes are made to the measurements you send. We do not publish strength figures or promise how long a pizza stays hot. If something is not on this site, ask us and we will give you a straight answer.

Questions
Where is The Pizza Boxes based?
Our office is in Wolverhampton. It is an office, not a shop, so we deliver every order rather than offering collection.
Who can order from The Pizza Boxes?
Any UK food business with a UK mainland delivery address can order, from a single van to a frozen pizza brand. We quote minimums per job, so small kitchens are welcome.
What does The Pizza Boxes not make?
We stick to pizza boxes and the extras that go with them: liners, separators and side order trays. We do not make cups, bags or general food packaging.
Why does The Pizza Boxes only list six square sizes?
Those six fit the common 7, 9, 10, 12, 14 and 16 inch pizzas. We make any other size to your measurements instead of listing it.
Why does The Pizza Boxes quote by email instead of using a checkout?
The price of a box depends on size, board, print and quantity, so a fixed basket price would rarely match your job. An email quote within one working day gives you the real figure.
Why does The Pizza Boxes send a proof before printing?
A proof lets you check spelling, colours and placement on the real box shape. We wait for your approval before printing, so any mistake is caught on screen rather than on a pallet of boxes.
What board does The Pizza Boxes use?
We use corrugated E-flute, about 1.5 mm, and B-flute, about 3 mm, in white or brown kraft. The thicker B-flute wall keeps warmth in a little longer than E-flute.
Can The Pizza Boxes help design my box?
Yes. Send your logo or a rough idea and we will lay it out on the box as a free proof. You can also try ideas first on our Design Your Pizza Box page.
What happens if The Pizza Boxes gets an order wrong?
Report a misprint or damage within 10 days and we will reprint or refund the affected boxes. A misprint means print that differs from the proof you signed off.
Does The Pizza Boxes work with frozen pizza brands as well as takeaways?
Yes. As well as takeaway boxes, we make printed retail cartons for frozen pizza, sized to fit your pizza.
