Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to every order you place with The Pizza Boxes. They are short, and we would rather you read them before you approve a proof.
How do quotes work?
Under these terms, you receive the quote for each order by email within one working day. Your quote sets out the boxes, sizes, board, print, quantity and price.
A quote is an offer, not an order. Your order starts only when you accept the quote and approve your proof.

Proofs and approval
Before printing begins, you receive a design proof for your boxes at no charge. Nothing goes to print until you approve it.
Check every detail on the proof: spelling, phone numbers, colours, position and size. Once you approve, we print what the proof shows, and any later claim is judged against it.
Who owns the artwork?
By sending us a logo or design, you confirm that you own it or have the right to use it on packaging. We print it on that basis.
If someone else claims your artwork infringes their rights, that claim sits with you. Your artwork stays yours, and we use it only for your orders.
How long does production take?
Production takes 4 to 6 working days after proof approval. Changes made after approval may restart that count.
Working days run Monday to Friday and leave out UK bank holidays.
Where do you deliver?
Delivery is free and tracked to UK mainland addresses, in 2 to 3 working days after production. For addresses off the mainland, ask us before you order.
Responsibility for the boxes passes to you once they are delivered.

What if my boxes are misprinted or damaged?
If boxes arrive misprinted or damaged, tell us within 10 days of delivery and we will reprint or refund them. Send photos so we can check them against your approved proof.
Boxes that match the approved proof are not misprints. Our returns and reprints policy explains what counts.
Are prices shown with VAT?
No. All prices, including those on your quote, exclude VAT. VAT is added at the current UK rate.
Can I cancel an order?
You can cancel free of charge at any point before printing starts. Email us as soon as you can.
Once printing has started, your boxes are being made with your artwork, so the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Which law applies?
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.

Questions
Is a quote from The Pizza Boxes binding once I receive it?
No. A quote is an offer. Nothing is agreed until you accept it and approve your proof.
Can I change my artwork after approving the proof?
Ask straight away. If printing has not started, we can send a new proof, though the production count may restart.
What happens if I send a logo I do not own?
By sending artwork you confirm you own it or may use it. Any claim from the rightful owner sits with you, not with us.
Do the prices on my quote include VAT?
No. Prices exclude VAT, which is added at the current UK rate.
Up to what point can I cancel an order without charge?
Up to the moment printing starts. After that, the boxes carry your artwork and the order cannot be cancelled.
Do these terms cover a repeat of a previous order?
Yes. A repeat order follows the same terms, including proof approval and the 10 day window for faults.
Who is responsible for the boxes once they are delivered?
You are. Responsibility passes to you on delivery, so store the bundles somewhere dry.
Which courts handle a dispute under these terms?
The courts of England and Wales, under the law of England and Wales.
Does approving a proof by email or WhatsApp count as acceptance?
Yes. A clear yes to your proof by email or WhatsApp is your go-ahead to print.
